Highlights
- One-way from Dubrovnik, with six islands on the way (Šipan, Mljet, Lastovo, Korčula, Hvar, and Brač)
- The easiest of our four routes, with daily rides of 20–40 km and modest climbs
- Two UNESCO old towns bookend the trip: 13th-century walls in Dubrovnik, 4th-century palace in Split
- Šipan in the Elaphiti archipelago offers a flat 11 km warm-up loop where Dubrovnik's nobility once summered
- Walk through Korčula - Marco Polo's birthplace, and experience the Moreška sword dance still performed every summer
- Swim in Mljet's freshwater Veliko Jezero that has a 12th-century monastery islet

Some bike-and-boat tours end where they started. This one doesn't. It runs one-way from Dubrovnik to Split, between two of the Mediterranean's most-photographed old towns. Both UNESCO-listed. Both worth a full day of walking. Both yours to wander on either side of the riding week.
Between the bookends, the cycling stays gentle. 20 to 40 km a day, modest climbs, plenty of stops for swimming, lunch, and old-town wandering. The yacht handles everything in between: your cabin doesn't change, your luggage doesn't move, and the boat sails between harbors while you sleep.
The route was built with mixed-ability groups in mind:
Couples on different riding rhythms
Multi-generational families
First-time tour cyclists alongside more experienced ones
The whole boat is yours for the week, with a route designed so no one feels rushed and no one gets left behind.
So what does the week actually look like?
Day 1 is Dubrovnik — the walls, the cathedral, dinner on Stradun. Day 2 sails north to Šipan for a flat warm-up loop, and on to Mljet's saltwater lakes. Lastovo comes next: one of Croatia's quietest islands, with golden Marastina at the harbor. Then Korčula with its Marco Polo legend, Hvar's lavender fields, Brač's north coast, and finally Split — the city's old town built inside a Roman emperor's palace.
The cycling is light, the country towns stay quiet, and our team is reachable 24/7 if anything comes up. Still figuring out whether this is the right tour for your group? with our yacht broker, and we'll walk you through the options.
Our Bikes
The Pearls route is mostly paved (with one short macadam stretch on Mljet and another on the Stari Grad Plain), and the climbing is concentrated on the Korčula full-island day (927 m total ascent). The other days are gentle.
Trekking and gravel bikes handle the route well, and we recommend an e-bike on request for any rider who'd like the assist on Korčula or Lastovo.
Each bike rental includes:
Transport of the bike to your yacht and pickup at the end of the tour
Helmet (properly sized, road-certified)
Handlebar phone mount for navigation and route notes
Basic tool kit for small adjustments on the road
Disclaimer: Please note that while we strive to provide the exact models shown, bike availability may vary. In such cases, we'll always ensure you get a comparable bike of the same type and quality.
